Courrèges is a French brand founded in 1961 in Paris by André and Coqueline Courrèges. Emblematic of the 1960s with its miniskirts, its white boots or its trousers, it upset the established codes of fashion from its beginnings, and enjoyed significant success for twenty years to finally be more discreet from the 1980s. Three decade later, it was reborn thanks to two entrepreneurs who bought the brand, but also its cultural heritage. Two-tone trapeze dresses, silver teddy jacket, structured mini-skirts and immaculate bodysuits : the house's legendary cuts are revisited without being damaged, modernized without being old-fashioned. The colors remain clean and shiny while the materials keep their futuristic aspects for resolutely contemporary looks.
